Overview
The Proposed Wages page is where you can submit wage proposals for existing wages, such as increasing or decreasing an employee’s salary. All proposed wage changes are listed in a table with their relevant statuses.
Adding a Wage Proposal
To add a new wage proposal:
- Click on the button.
- A form will pop up where you can select the employee and fill out the relevant details for the wage proposal.
- Once submitted, the proposal will be sent through the approval process, alerting relevant roles to provide their feedback.
- The wage proposal will be fully approved once it passes through all required levels of approval.
Managing Wage Proposals
Wage proposals can be:
- Denied: Any level in the approval process can deny the proposal.
- Counter Proposed: Any level can submit a counter proposal if adjustments are needed.
- Edited: You can edit a wage proposal if changes are necessary before it is fully approved.
- Deleted: If a wage proposal is no longer needed, it can be deleted. Deleted proposals can be restored if needed later.
Counterproposal Respondent
You can set who will respond to counter proposals, either the employee or their supervisor. This setting helps streamline the wage negotiation process based on your facility’s preferences.
Informing Employee on Denial
Additionally, you can configure whether to automatically inform the employee when their wage proposal is denied. This setting applies to all wage proposals within your facility, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
Status Tracking
Each wage proposal’s status is updated in the table, allowing you to track its progress through the approval process. You can easily see which proposals are pending, in progress, approved, denied, or under a counter proposal.
